Managing our stress response and understanding trauma through COVID-19
Message from NMHPV CEO
This webinar has been designed to support you.
2020 has been a year like no other! Our first-hand exposure to hundreds of nurses, midwives and carers, directly and indirectly impacted by the enduring and unrelenting stress-provoking events of this year, led our service to ask ‘how can we strengthen our support response for everyone in and around the nursing and midwifery professions?’.
We turned to Dr Rob Gordon, a clinical psychologist with decades of experience in stress and trauma management and disaster recovery, to share his expertise with you.
In this webinar, Rob shares his knowledge on how to successfully understand and manage the stress response and trauma many have faced this year and may continue to experience in the weeks and months ahead.
We are very pleased to present this webinar and hope you benefit from the information provided.
If this webinar raises issues for you and you need support, please call us on 9415 7551 from 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday or email:
Alternatively, Nurse & Midwife Support is available 24/7 Australia-wide on 1800 667 877.
