NMHPV One Day Champion Training 2018

The NMHPV is pleased to announce that registrations for 2018 ‘NMHP Champion’ training are now open.

The ‘NMHP Champion’ initiative, is a peer engagement and training model designed to raise awareness of the NMHPV and to promote the health of our colleagues and our professions. It was developed in response to Victorian nurses’ and midwives’ desire to positively influence their peer’s health and wellbeing and has gone from strength to strength since it was first delivered in 2013.

We invite all nurses, midwives, students, health service leaders and Human Resource personnel from around Victoria to participate in this interactive training. You will join the other 490 trained NMHP Champions located around the state in supporting our peers and raising awareness about the importance of promoting our health.

We have maintained last year’s registration fee of $47.50 which is applied to cover our costs only. Students are required to register and pay at the advertised rate, however, if you are currently enrolled in a nursing or midwifery course you will receive a $20 cash refund on the day, on presentation of your student card.

We are confident you will find this represents excellent value and you will take away a range of beneficial, practical and transferable self-care strategies which can be applied in and out of the workplace.

We hope to see you there.
